Dash...........!!!!!!!!!!!’ Came the jeep and halted before the hospital.The clinic was right before a TEMPLE.
All the ammas (2 Peddammas + Amma) got down and we were struggling to get down.
Right then the driver said "Madam, I will park the vehicle and come" .
One of the Ammas said ‘OK’ and even before we got down, the driver headed off. We remained in the jeep.Now the driver was going all the way long just for parking. “Something fishy” I thought. He crossed the railway track, passed some gullies , then somewhere after that he stopped the jeep in front of a pan-shop and went inside a lane.
I , being the eldest among all(was supposed to take care of everything you see J), cried at the other two...'Oye …!!!!!!!!!We got kidnapped..There he is.Went inside to make a good deal for us.”
The other two said ‘Auna Akka…!!!!!!! (Is it..Sis..???)” and started crying.
I posed to be a born rescuer and said ‘Don’t worry …!!!!!! I’ll take us out of this .Get down the jeep and Can you guys just stop crying. Be Brave…….Chalo…let’s take an auto to the clinic.’
The other two ‘But akka we don’t know the way to clinic right..!!!!!!??? ‘
I said “Ptch …u pichi mohams(Mad fellas)..Thank GOD that you’ve been blessed with an intelligent sis like me..I remember there is a temple opposite to the clinic. So with that we’ll trace out the clinics. He ha ha ha ha ha….. “
‘Akka you are a genius…’ the other two said.
I gave a ‘Ya I know’ kinda smile.
We got down the jeep..Went to an Aunt standing side by and said “Aunty…!!!!! Seems like we have been kidnapped by our jeep driver. We came to a clinic along with our Ammas and the driver told them that he’ll park his vehicle and get back.But he has brought us too far and We don’t have any idea where he has gone now… ( I didn’t tell them that he went inside a DARK lane to make a deal for us….I didn’t want to hint them :P)”
“Where did your Ammas get down ?” Aunty asked….
“They got down at a clinic opposite to a temple.”
“Was it a GANESH temple ?” inquired aunty…
“Yeah..Aunty exactly you are a genius...”….we said in unison J ( Kudos to my LUCK……may be there was only one such clinic which was before a TEMPLE….had it not been the case…I wouldn’t have been here J )
The Aunty called an auto and told the autowallah the entire story.
The driver, being a good person dropped us at the clinic..
As soon as we got down the AUTO…..We started ……..”WAAAHHHHHHHHHHH………..
Amma asked.. “Wat happened to you people…why did you take so long… and why the hell are you crying.”
I told the whole story.
“Oh….Is it!!!!”….They exclaimed and said cool now and have chapathi..
I was not satisfied with how they reacted…I wanted something more..How could they just say a simple “Ohhh’ and leave it.
I wanted some real vengeance..like they show in TELUGU movies.
Then I thought.. “Yeah but after chapathi with jam..(Doesn’t it taste gud..Mmmm)
And then came the driver panting with a worried look on his face "Madam…!!! Madam…!!! I don’t know where the girls have gone.I’ve left them in the jeep and went inside a LANE..Came out.Couldn’t find them..”
“Come inside and see.They are eating…..” Amma said.
The driver gave a sigh of relief and asked… “How did they come ?”
“They got scared as you left them alone for quite a long time.” said Amma.
“Mam….!!!! I wanted to go to bathroom and I didn’t find any suitable place….So I kept going till I found a good…errr I mean a suitable place and after that stopped the jeep infront of a lane and went IN to finish MYWORK.Thats it..” He said.
I was enjoying chapathi….and took back my VOW OF VENGEANCE……ufffffffff
I think My Mom didn’t tell him the story I fabricated… J J J
P.S : This is not a story….It did happen. I was in my 5th standard. Now don’t consider me to be too much of imaginative….the driver himself looked like a goon…
His name was SAIDULU..Had bloodshot eyes , always had PANPARAG in his mouth and sleepy eyes….And you know I am very much influenced by the movies those days where people kidnap kids and ask for RANSOM..That was the time when we were taught not to take anything from the strangers etc etc..
So..you see naturally bound to happen J
